Recent History and Info
19/10/98 -.-- Nothing major, just a move from my old ISP to new ISP. I'm still snowed under at work and will be for at least another month or two. I am working on Juno when I get a chance and I will release it when it's ready to ship. There is a bug in the TnF emulation which causes a crash in the hammer throwing.. It will be fixed in the next version along with the RType I bug. My new email address is junofirst@junofirst.freeserve.co.uk but I probably won't be able to check it very regularily. My chrish@kcbbs.gen.nz email account hopefully will stay alive for a while. Try this email address in preference to the freeserve one.
25/6/98 -.-- It's been a while since I updated the page... Sorry.. Anyway, I'm trying to get a new version of Juno ready for release but unfortunately my job has escalated into requiring a 48 hour day, which leaves very little time in the day for sleeping, much less emulator coding, so it will probably be at least a few weeks or so before I get back to finishing it up ready for a new relase. On the news side... After speaking to Anders I have finally fixed the RType I sprite bug which has haunted my emu for a LONG time. Thanks guys.. Dragon Breed is running also,(it was haunted by the same bug), all I need to do is sample the sound effects to get it 100% working. Anyway, thats all for now......
For those people wondering what I was doing during March, here is Jo and I all dressed up. Yep, I'm now a married man. (and ,Yes, Jo is a girl :). One of the very few times I have worn a suit.
2/4/98 -.-- Back again. I see that Janne and Anders have been busy while I've been away. Well done. ROMLIST has been doing great work dumping more IREM games. The hard work is appreciated.. Can't wait to look at them :-).
There was only one downer when I got back... As you can imagine, I've got a large backlog of emails to read/reply to. One particular person wasn't happy that I didn't reply within 72 hours about when TnF/HS samples are going into Juno and sent a second mail which went like this...
